JOHN LYDON won't be sending COLDPLAY or RADIOHEAD Christmas cards.
In typically grumpy form, the SEX PISTOLS legend let rip at the bands led by CHRIS MARTIN and THOM YORKE, suggesting they don't care about their fans.
He said: "Coldplay and Radiohead bug the hell out of me because it's so soulless. It just seems pointless. It's nice, but it's tosh. They don't care about you. They care about lining their coffers."
This from the man who has starred in an advert for butter.
He added: "There's nothing about heart and soul, they don't know about people dying, living, aspiring."

This is upsetting, a former legend, bashing on what he probably wish he still had, yet could he actually be onto something? I mean radiohead and coldplay do seem to have sold out shows and also seem to be in the good light with most people. Is it that they don’t do anything that’s not unexpected of them? They really could be fooling everyone and everyone could be pretty much buying into it and thinking it’s the normal thing to do with what they are presented with. It’s just a bit strange that Johnny would concern himself with something so trivial and not be worrying about other issues. It seems more like a jealous rant rather than a thought provoking idea. How many people are going to believe a man who’s known for vices versus groups known for charitable behavior. I guess it all comes down to the audience.
